Seems so far away at times
I force concentration to awaken
to repeat short lived experiences.
I laugh as I once again realize--
all I've ever known in my mind is fleeting.
Only you remain constant and unchanged.
My mind's attention fragmented -
jumps and shifts from perception to another.
All the while you remember the true me - with only Love.

I feel so serious at times
in my attempts to stay awake
only to remember truth of Love and Joy
